This cosmic circle is eastern influenced. The center is a crane, the bird of long life and happiness. He is seated in an eight pointed star of the native Hopi colors. The center rests in a yin-yang wheel, symbol of the philosophy of the east, the balance between the earth and the heavens, the sun and the moon, dark and light, man and woman, east and west. The yin-yang is enclosed in petals of the Hopi symbol. This circle symbolizes long life and happiness to the east and west.
